'Tis The Season
All of a sudden, the Holiday Season has arrived. The hustle and bustle
of shopping has leaped to a frenzied beginning; so much to do, so
little time. 'Twas always thus, my Aunt Jeanne often said. To most of
the people I know, this is the shoppers' favorite time of year.
At SoCooL, once the Festival of Lights at Patti's Settlement begins,
the shopping buzz builds. People from near and far travel to
Grand Rivers, KY for fine dining, friendly people and the fun of
shopping at SoCooL.
The Vera Bradley inventory is the largest I have ever seen at
SoCooL. The popular handbag designer has so many offerings, such
a huge variety, it's hard to keep up with the abundance. Totes seem to
be the most popular style, the trimmed totes are a favorite choice. And
such a wide spectrum of colors, seems they offer all colors and
patterns one could ever imagine.
Pandora Jewelry is probably the second most popular item at SoCooL.
Of course, every year Pandora presents their Winter Collection,
complete with Christmas and seasonal styling. The snowflake earrings are
a nice design and very popular.
Electric bicycles from Easy Motion are a recent addition to SoCooL.
The store stocks a couple of styles: mostly EVO Street and Jumper.
And they can order just about any style which Easy Motion offers.
These are fun bikes, have ridden them myself, lots of power, handling
the rolling hills of Western Kentucky with ease. Demo rides and
occasional demo bikes are available at a fair discount.
